Lord, help me to remember who you are and who I am. Help me to remember that I am dust. And that I am a broken sinner who deserves hell. And that you are the Alpha to the Omega, the Ancient of Days. You have always been here and you always will be. You are the universe creator. You know the hairs on the heads of every single human being who has ever lived. You are holy and righteous and cannot be in the presence of sin. I tremble in your presence. And you stretch out your hand of mercy to me. You allowed your beard to be ripped out. Your face spit on. Mocked and beaten, humiliated and tortured on a cross…to pay the punishment for my sins. To raise me up as your son, a co-heir of your Kingdom, to wear your righteousness like a robe. Thank you for your unending mercy Jesus. Help me to grasp it. Help me to show it to others.

Good post man. . .thanks for humbling and encouraging with true things of God. Love space stuff too cause it’s vast and humbles and takes me out of my element. Whoever figures these things says there’s upwards of 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars across 92 billion light years of space. . . light traveling 6 trillion miles in a year. Thinking about that and totally failing to get my head around it, read. . . “He stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in… Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name. By the greatest of His might and because He is strong in power not one is missing.” And my heart’s totally in that He exists. . . that God is, and He knows my name, and He holds me, and I’m not missing. Staking everything that God is able and willing to give what’s needed to finish this fight and make it thru.
